WATCH NOW:

This week we talk to Badminton New Zealand board member Christina Yu and Chief Executive, Joe Hitchcock. Despite COVID-19, Badminton New Zealand has continued to make massive strides with its work toward achieving gender equity, announcing it had reached the government 40% gender equity target during lockdown, with the appointment of Christina.

Joe and Christina talked to us about their COVID-19 journey, the sport’s diverse participant base and the need for Boards to be representative of those they represent.

In these quick bite-sized conversations, moderated by our Secretary General Rachel Froggatt, we will connect with leaders from all over the sector in Aotearoa New Zealand and globally, to find out what they are seeing, how they are managing and what they are learning during rebuild and recovery from this unprecedented situation.
