Help Us Change the Face of Sport Now!

Sponsor participants to attend the world’s largest gathering to advance gender equity and equality in sport and physical activity on 14-17 November 2022.

We need your help to change the face of sport in Aotearoa New Zealand!

Between 14-17 November, Women in Sport Aotearoa will stage the 8th IWG World Conference on Women & Sport at Te Pokapū – the Aotea Centre – in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, and simultaneously Online.

Hosted quadrennially since 1994, the IWG is the largest gathering in the world to advance gender equity and equality in sport and physical activity. 1,200+ leaders are expected in person, with 500+ more online.

We hope to make the event accessible to as many local leaders, influencers and delivery agents as we possibly can. Our overall purpose is to share research, case studies, toolkits and ideas that can be practically applied to ensure women and girls gain equity of opportunity to participate, compete and build careers in sport. More than 500 speakers are now confirmed, delivering insight across over 220+ interactive sessions.

We are incredibly grateful to the New Zealand government, and our other local partners, for helping us to make the conference fees as low as we possibly make them. But for some members of our local sports communities, especially the volunteers that make up our sports boards, this is still beyond their means.

Can you help us by sponsoring participants to attend the IWG World Conference?
