IWG Women and Sport Appoints Digital Community Manager

The International Working Group (IWG) on Women and Sport has recently welcomed Aoife Glass into the role of Digital Community Manager to support on the implementation of the IWG Strategic Plan for the current secretariat period (2022-2026).

Glass will take responsibility for creating global communities of organisations, stakeholders and individuals to help accelerate the impact of the IWG in making the changes needed to the structures and values of sport. A digital content and engagement specialist, Glass has experience working in digital communities across a number of industries, including for online publications at both Future Plc and Immediate Media Co.

Secretary General Lisa O’Keefe said: “I’m very pleased to have Aoife join our team as Digital Community Manager. Connected and collaborative communities are a cornerstone of our strategy, so Aoife’s experience will be invaluable in building not only a meaningful and connected global community, but also in providing the best platform for sharing global insight.”
